  Purple Skip Hire – NOT RECOMMENDED
  
  I have just hired two skips from Purple Skip Hire North East
  
  I am a young mother now 9 months pregnant with my baby due in two weeks
  
  I used Purple Skips as they were recommended by workers doing some gardening work for me.
  
  Purple Skip Website states on their advertising statement shown directly below:
  
  “Our main aim is to provide you with a first class customer service
  
  AND
  
  Whatever your requirements, you can rest assured that you will receive a reliable and high quality service”
  
  The statement above is far from the truth.
  
  Apparently we overfilled our Skip?
  We have seen many skips much fuller than ours each and every day.
  
  Purple Skips do not advise how full you can load up and I assumed that our load was normal practice.
  
  An EXTRA £48 DEMAND FOR MONEY was made by them because it was an 'unsafe load' and could not be moved. I agreed to pay on pick up of the next skip because I was alone and felt intimidated by the man. He then took away the 'unsafe load'. was it really unsafe or did they just want extra money??
  
  Purple Skips act with malice and do NOT take pride in their offhand service.
  
  Purple Skips then try to blackmail you into paying the extra £48 by NOT RETRIEVING THEIR SKIP. They leave it on your driveway weeks after the skip is no longer needed, 3 weeks and counting!
  
  I am lucky that I have plenty of parking space outside my house to park and it doesn’t affect me apart from it looking unsightly.
  
  Purple Skips believe that this is the best way forward to force a heavily pregnant woman into submission by intimidating her by menace of simply leaving the skip in place.
  
  We are going to place a placard on top of the skip to let passing trade and neighbours know why the skip is still here and once the bad word spreads we hope that this will affect their reputation as the reputation is definitely nothing like that promised in their mission statement.
  
  The “reliable and high quality service” is a joke.
  
  If they’ll act like this with a pregnant woman, rest assured they will act like this to you too!
  
  THE SKIP IS STILL THERE WEEKS AFTER WE NO LONGER NEED IT
  
  WHAT DO YOU THINK? - DO THEY REALLY OFFER A “FIRST CLASS SERVICE” ?
